This was taken during the filming of the "Artillery Games" at the Shiloh Military Base in Canada. Distance from gun to target was a little over 100 yards. The photo below shows the tennis balls falling,

Taken at Shiloh Military Base in Canada. Car has been hit with a 24 pdr howitzer round and a Parrott round. You can see the projectiles in the air.
